Rebates
Efficiency Maine sets the rebate. We handle the filing.
Efficiency Maine is the state's efficiency program. It rebates qualifying heat pump installs by registered vendors, and the amount depends on the system and on household income.
How the rebate is set
Two indoor units: the rebate rises with household income, in steps the program publishes.
The program's page lists the current amounts, limits and qualifying equipment.
We do not quote a rebate we have not checked against that page.

The paperwork
Where the rebate shows up, step by step.
- 01
Step 1: At the visit
We ask about household income only to tell you which rebate step may apply. You can skip the question.
- 02
Step 2: On the quote
The rebate is its own line, with the program's name beside it, so the total is easy to read.
- 03
Step 3: After install
We submit the Efficiency Maine paperwork as a registered vendor and tell you the day it goes in.
- 04
Step 4: If rules change
If the program changes between the quote and the install, we tell you in writing before work starts.

Rebate questions.
What rebates are there?
Efficiency Maine runs the state's heat pump rebates, and the amount depends on the system and on household income. We are a registered vendor, so we check what applies at the visit and show the rebate as its own line on the quote. Rules change, so the program's page is the final word.
What does the home visit cost, and what do I get?
We tell you before we book it whether the visit has a fee and whether it is credited toward the work if you hire us. You get a walk through the house, a look at the boiler room and the electrical panel, and a written quote with the equipment model named. The pricing page has the full list.
Is there anything beyond the state rebate?
Programs change. Ask us what your state or utility offers, and we will check what is open at your visit before we put anything on the quote.
